20 Months Progress: Hitting a draw

Early in my pursuit of golf, one of the shots that I really wanted to be to able to execute was the draw. So I worked on it. Worked on it and worked on it. It was a shot that I'd see the PGA pros do with the Protracer technology, conceptually I knew what had to be done, but doing and executing it was a different matter. I wanted that shot that started right and curved back to the middle of the fairway. This required practice. I hooked it often early on, but I didn't care, I kept on trying, because I needed to know the extreme effects of body movements that caused the draw. Find the extremes and tune it in until you get the results. I knew I would someday get it. Today is the day that I've proved to myself that I know what moves it takes to make the club head strike and spin the ball from right to left. Any draw that I've done before, it was still miss understood how it happened and wasn't confident it was the best way of creating it. I have a stronger understanding today how to make this shot shape.

  1. man you really need to slow your back swing down, just try keep a slow and smooth back swing. i also noticed that your hands are very low at the top of your swing. almost like your swing round your shoulders. work on picking them up a bit more of a middle ground between your shoulders and the back of your head.

  2. in doing this you will also get a bit more power of of you swing because you ark will be tall and longer allowing you body to coil more. and by going a bit slower you will more in control of the shoot

  3. nice aim… im terrible with the driver, but i have so much control with the pitching wedge and the 7iron.. idk why
